George's Postcard Note: On the way to Ronda we stopped at Antequera, a handsome town on a hill above the surrounding plains. We climbed - it was our first taste of Spain's hot summer weather - and climbed. Finally we got to the moorish fortress, in a state of romantic disrepair, on top. Roman artifacts lay about. The gardens there grew - it seemed - on their own. We found a shady spot and picnicked, enjoying the view of 13th century walls and this tower, installed with Christian bells.
