George's Postcard Note: To see the large painting of the Alhambra click here. We walked along the road that follows the stream below the Alhambra and found the interesting Archeological Museum. It's housed in a fine large 16th century casa. There's a two-story central court, surrounded by a two-story logia, a simple elegant fountain in its center, and a huge old cypress dominating one corner. From the upper loggia I caught a view of a the Alcazar - the Palace in the Alhambra - across the casa's tile roofs. I used watercolor crayons to sketch the basic drawing, then, next day finished the painting with washes.
