George's Postcard Note: We found the tiny pavilion, fully restored, at the end of a city park a few subway stops from our hotel. But it was closing for lunch. So we decided find a place nearby for our own two-hour lunch. We returned to the serene, rich, elegantly stark building. I was glad to see and experience this 20th century architectural icon. I sat on the marble bench and tried to think about drawing this building of cool colors and marble planes.
